Tetra Tech assisted the Chilean court system to improve the efficiency of the courts. Experts reviewed case flow management, records management, and judicial statistics and made recommendations. The team worked with the central administrative office of the courts to clarify its support and oversight role to the trial courts of the country.

Tetra Tech hosted a study tour for a delegation of Chilean judges, economists, lawyers, and consultants, who traveled to numerous courts in San Francisco to meet with justice sector officials to gain a more in-depth understanding of the criminal process and the relationships between the different justice sector actors. In a separate trip, a delegation of Chilean court administrators visited San Francisco to study the issue of how courts in the United States measure their performance. The result of the trip was a comprehensive report on management indicators for the Chilean judicial system.

Tetra Tech provided support to a local indigenous organization in the Bio Bio Region in the following areas: institutional capacity building, financial management and oversight training, mentoring, and leadership development. The goal was to empower the local organization to work effectively in communities affected by hydroelectric dam construction.

"[Tetra Tech] is an excellent company with whom to work and USAID has been extremely satisfied with their work, which has been and continues to be above and beyond the expected. I recommend them without hesitation."
