Tetra Tech DPK (Tt DPK) provides technical, management, and advisory services to help developing and transitioning societies navigate the challenges they face. We work around the world with donors such as the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the U.S. Department of State Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), and the World Bank to help establish and strengthen productive relationships between state and society and develop sustainable government and justice systems that are responsible, transparent, accountable, fair, and efficient.

Tt DPK seeks two Rule of Law / Proposal Development Interns to start in the Fall semester (September– December, 2014) and continue through the Spring (January – May 2015) to assist the Business/Proposal Development/Recruitment team. Candidates should be interested in learning more about international development, proposal development for donor-funded projects, and technical methodologies utilized in rule of law, access to justice, crime and violence prevention, governmental integrity, and anti-corruption projects around the world. Solid writing, research, and computer skills are essential. The internship is paid.

Qualifications:

      • Candidates must have strong interest and experience in international development.
      • Candidates must have solid writing, research, and MS Office Suite skills.
      • Knowledge of a second language, preferably French, Spanish, or Arabic is a plus.
      • Only students currently in law school, graduate programs in International Development, Public Administration, Nonprofit Administration, or similar programs may apply.
      • Students must have already completed their undergraduate degree to be considered.
Position Description:

Chief responsibilities include supporting proposal development and recruitment efforts for rule of law, access to justice, crime and violence prevention, governmental integrity, and anti-corruption proposals and projects around the world. Intern will primarily conduct research, write relevant proposal sections, and support recruitment tasks for live and upcoming proposals. Intern will also assist with project implementation assignments and general administrative tasks as needed.

Time Commitment:
