In USAID’s Democratic Consolidation and Conflict Resolution Project, Tetra Tech worked to increase citizen participation in policy making; improve transparency and accountability in governance; and reduce vulnerability to ethnic and political conflict. Tetra Tech served as principal subcontractor to the Research Triangle Institute and provided technical assistance primarily to improve justice sector efficiency and effectiveness, advance public procurement reform, and strengthen internal controls and parliamentary oversight. Tetra Tech improved court administration and management, trained justice sector professionals, and increased the use of arbitration services. Tetra Tech also helped draft legislation to modernize public procurement and ensure public access to information. The team also supported formulation of a National Action Plan Against Corruption and development of a corruption index to measure the plan's success.

"[Tetra Tech] is an excellent company with whom to work and USAID has been extremely satisfied with their work, which has been and continues to be above and beyond the expected. I recommend them without hesitation."

-Jill Gulliksen, USAID
